 5th Addition, Section 2   Betty Rector Jones 16 August 1866 - 23 January 1939 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, January 26, 1939 pg.5 Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Rector Jones, 73, were held at Sherman Tuesday afternoon, with interment following at the Collinsville Cemetery. Mrs. Jones died Monday at her home in Sherman aftera 9-day illness. She was born in Bristol, Virginia, the daughter of John and Emalee Wilson, and moved to Chillicother, Texas, in 1893. She later moved to Sherman where she had resided for 20 years. Her first husband, A.L. Rector, died 15 years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, R.W. Jones of Sherman; a daughter, Mrs. W.J. Gray of Whitesboro; a son, J.O. Rector of Whitesboro; a brother, J.S. Wilson of Blue Ridge; and two sisters, Mrs. A.F. Yount of Dallas and Mrs. Lula Hodge of Belleview, California. She was a sister of the late Mrs. R.C. Norris of Whitewright.
