Winchester Stone 8 January 1939 - 20 July 2005 Robert "Bob" A. Stone 29 December 1932 - 27 December 2013 wed 29 May 1958 COLLINSVILLE - Funeral services for Robert A. (Bob) Stone, age 80, will be Monday, December 30, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Collinsville Church of Christ with Scott Sides and Ricky Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in the Collinsville Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro. Mr. Stone passed away Friday, December 27, 2013, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro, Texas. Mr. Stone was born December 29, 1932, near Kenefic, Oklahoma to Grover C. and Leola (Stanford) Stone. He married Frances Winchester on March 29, 1958 in Sandusky, Texas. He graduated from Collinsville High School in 1952, and served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Stone worked in the printing business and was employed for many years by Moore Business Forms in Denton, Texas, and later by Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. He was a faithful member of the Collinsville Church of Christ, where he served as an Elder for many years. He was very athletic and loved all sports, baseball being his favorite. Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially fishing on the White River in Arkansas. He is survived by his son, Brad Stone of Collinsville, Texas; Grandchildren, Jessica Stone of Denton, Texas and Zach Stone of Collinsville, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and two siblings; G. C. Stone and Mary Patterson. Pallbearers are Terry Davis, Blaine Patterson, Keith Welch, Jim Barnes, Zachary Stone, Garrett Patterson, Cody Cannon, and Eric Patterson. Honorary Pallbearers are the Elders of Collinsville Church of Christ; Tommy Blackburn, Don Graham, David Davenport and Ron Poole; Deacons Harold Achimon, J. D. Pruitt and Jeff Reed.
