services for Oleta Cox, 89, were held Monday, February 5, 2007 with
Rev. Jerry Davis officiating, followed by interment in Collinsville
Cemetery. Mrs. Cox passed away February 1, 2007 at Wilson N.
Jones Medical Center in Sherman. Oleta was born January 3, 1918 in Collinsville, Texas to Eber and Edna (Owens) Swindle. She attended Collinsville schools and later married Alfred H. Cox. Mrs. Cox is survived by a brother, Ned Swindle of Collinsville; two sisters, Dorothy Carney of Collinsville and Nedra Boaz of Denton; and several neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; infant child, Linda Sharon Cox; brothers, Ty Swindle, Eber Swindle, Jr. and J.B. Swindle; sisters, Lena Bell Jones, Catherine Kerr and Nannie Lee Swindle. Pallbearers were Roger Kerr, Marshall Carney, Bruce Vannoy, Berry Vannoy, Brent Vannoy, Mikey Vannoy and Tony Vannoy.
