FUNERAL FOR COLLINSVILLE WOMAN IS HELD TUESDAY
Funeral services were held in Collinsville Tuesday afternoon at
2:30 p.m. for Mrs. Emma Burtrum, 83. Mrs. Burtrum died Sunday in
Collinsville after a three-month illness. She was a resident there.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. in the Collinsville
Methodist church. Rev. Hugh Newsom, Collinsville Baptist minister,
and Rev. D.V. Leander, pastor of the church, officiated.
Burial was in Collinsville Cemetery under the direction of Richards
Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burtrum was born March 31, 1885 in Everett, Kan., the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Fulencheck. She married James P. Burtrum on
December 28, 1907 in Grayson county.
She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Green and Mrs. Pearl
Slack, both of Collinsville; a son, James P. Burtrum of Bonham; a brother,
T.J. Fulencheck of Mangum, Okla.; two granddaughters, and a great-grandson;
and several nieces and nephews.
