Light 16 March 1919 - 2 February 1975 Staff Sergeant US Army WWII The Herald Democrat December 30, 2010 CYPRESS - Funeral services for Glenda Light Miller will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31 in the Collinsville Church of Christ. Ricky Patterson will officiate with services under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Collinsville Cemetery. Mrs. Miller, 87, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 in the Herman Hospital in Houston. Glenda was born May 28, 1923 in Collinsville to the late Robert and Odessa (Graham) Vaughn. She married Joe Merle Light in 1942 and they were married until his death in 1975. Glenda married Charles Miller in 1986 and was married to Mr. Miller until his passing in 2007. Glenda was a member of the Fairfield Church of Christ and a former member of the Western Heights Church of Christ. Mrs. Miller is survived by one son, David Light of Justin; three daughters, Shannon Cox of Cypress, Joanna Reiter and her husband George of Houston, and Janette Norton and her husband Richard of Cypress; one brother, Silas Max Vaughn of Montreat, N.C.; one sister, Helen Christsen of Seattle, Wash.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild. The family will be at Waldo Funeral Home from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County at 505 W.
