Whitesboro - Services for carol Vaughan, 64-year-old retired secretary
of Whitesboro, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Huff Funeral Home Chapel.
She died Tuesday at Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman.
Tom Medlin will officiate, with burial in Collinsville Cemetery
in Collinsville.
Mrs. Vaughan was born in Collinsville, the daughter of William Scottie
Graham and Mary Aline Cannady Graham. On Feb. 26, 1956, she married
Grady Vaughan in Hugo, Okla.
She was a retired secretary for the Texas Highway Department and
a member of the Collinsville Church of Christ.
Surviving are her son, Scottie Sanders of Whitesboro; sisters, Wynona
Knox of Sherman and Robbie Lynn Peterson of Denison; and one grandson.
Pallbearers will be Howard L. Smith, Bobby Blankenship, Wayne Blakey,
Thurman Hayes, Troyce Holcomb and Bobby Jackson.
Memorials may be made to the Collinsville Cemetery Association in
care of Shannon Cox, Collinsville, 76233
