   Dee Russell Allen 2 May 1934 - 30 May 2014 Donald Reed Allen 20 October 1934 - wed 9 January 1960  Graveside services for Dee Russell Allen, 80, of Whitesboro, Texas, were Wednesday morning, June 4, 2014 at Collinsville Cemetery with Rev. Gene Gordon officiating. She died Friday, May 30, 2014 at Collinsville Long Term Care, Collinsville, Texas. Service arrangements were under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. Dee was born May 2, 1934, daughter of Charly Stewart Russell and Ollie Moncrif Russell in Lufkin, Texas. She married Donald R. Allen January 9, 1960 in Houston, Texas. She was a member of Collinsville United Methodist Church. She was a strong and devoted member of her church and loved the Lord. She was a good wife and mother and will be greatly missed by her family and a host of friends. She is survived by her husband, Donald of Whitesboro and sons, Stephen D. Allen of Collinsville, Texas and Tracy Scott Allen of Dallas, Texas; 3 granddaughters, Justine, and Marisa Allen of Lubbock, Texas; Stacy Allen of Round Rock, Texas; great-granddaughter, Caroline Fulton of Lubbock, Texas; 2 brothers, Arlis Russell of Buffalo, Texas and Gerald Russell of Houston, Texas and cousin, Mary Rogers of Houston, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to Collinsville First United Methodist, Collinsville, Texas or to the Salvation Army. She was preceded in death by her parents.
