  The Meridian Star September 28, 2006 Services for Christine Wright Smith will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hal Bates officiating. Burial will be in First Baptist Church of Collinsville Cemetery. Mrs. Smith, 88, of Collinsville, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at Heartfelt Hospice. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville for many years and taught Sunday school. Survivors include her son, Johnnie E. Smith of Collinsville; a sister, Imogene Hunt of Houston, Texas and a brother, Calvin Wright of Meridian; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis L. Smith and her parents, Ervin and Annie McKeithen Wright. Pallbearers will be Ike Ethridge, Craig Hitt, Joe Williams, Kenny Livingston, A.J. Wedgeworth, Rod Hitt, Clyde Walker and Dan Houston. Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
