Bobby Ray Gorrell, 82, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Haltom Road Baptist Church. Interment: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Collinsville Cemetery, Collinsville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet. Bobby loved fishing and hunting and loved to take his boys and grandsons with him. He graduated from Pilot Point High School in 1950. He worked for Charles Needham Refrigeration for 38 years. He married Betty Mitchell after she graduated from school on her birthday, Nov. 5, 1952. They were married for 62 years and made their home in Fort Worth and Haltom City. They had two sons, David and Andy. He and Betty traveled many years with Norma Baxter and Company. He was proud that he had been in every state of our great nation and all of Canada. He was an Army veteran from 1953 to 1955, serving during the Korean War. Survivors: Wife, Betty; sons, David and wife, Vickye, Andy and wife, Tracey; grandsons, Shane Gorrell, Dee Gorrell, Evan Gorrell and Carter Gorrell; great-granddaughter, Caroline Elizabeth Gorrell; stepgranddaughters, Lindsey Graves and Breane Rose; stepgreat-grandsons, Grayson Graves and Jax Rose; and many nieces and nephews.
