Sherman Daily Democrat Thursday, March 29, 1917 pg. 4 C.M. RASOR Citizen of Southmayd Community Died in Sherman Today C.M. Rasor, 57 years of age, a citizen of the Southmayd community west of here, died in Sherman this morning following a short illness. The body was taken in charge by the John C. Dannel Undertaking Company and will be shipped to Collinsville tomorrow afternoon, where burial will take place. Funeral services will be held under the auspices of the Southmayd Camp, W.O.W., of which the deceased had long been a faithful member. Mr. Rasor is survived by his wife, Mrs. Talitha Rasor and eleven children. Sherman Daily Democrat Friday, March 20, 1917 pg. 5 The body of C.M. Rasor, prominent citizen of the Southmayd community, who died in Sherman yesterday morning, was shipped to Collinsville this afternoon by the John C. Dannel Undertaking Company, where interment was made. The services were conducted under the auspices of the W.O.W., of which the deceased had long been a member. The following relatives were here this morning and will attend the funeral in Collinsville: John Rasor, brother; Dow Rasor, Jesse R. Rasor, E.M. Rasor, T.C.
