Quattlebaum 1939 - 2006 Herald Democrat (Sherman, Texas) Thursday, December 28, 2006 Graveside services for Walter Glenn Quattlebaum, 67, of Sherman who passed away on December 24, 2006 at his residence will be held on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Collinsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2006 from 7 until 8 p.m. at Dannel Funeral Home. Mr. Quattlebaum was born on June 20, 1939 to J.O. Quattlebaum and Luetter Combest Quattlebaum in Collinsville, Texas. He was a graduate of Sherman High School. In his early years he worked as a barber for Calvin Crow at Crow's Barber Shop. Later he was a commercial electrician and retired from Libby Owens Ford. Mr. Quattlebaum was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter: T.J. Shockley and husband Van of Sherman; 5 grandchildren: Ashley Wright, Danjelica Wright, Terrin Bailey, Isabelle Shockley, Ethan Shockley. He is also survived by Helen Quattlebaum of Sherman.
