for Ruth Belle Patton, 84, of 1424 Olive St., who died Monday at
Gainesville Memorial Hospital, were held Wednesday afternoon at the
Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Byron Tidwell
officiating. Burial followed in Collinsville Cemetery. She was born March 17, 1897 in Salem, Texas and was the wife of James Patton, who preceded her in death in1 962. Survivors include one daughter, Mearle Rye of Gainesville; 2 stepsons, Marshall Patton and Herschel Patton, both of Huntsville, Alabama; 2 stepdaughters, and one grandson.
