DIES Tuesday evening at 5 o'clock Emily Loretta James, the 11-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. James of Mardsen, Indian Territory, died at the home of her grandparents...hotel from congestion....She was buried Wednesday evening at 3 o'clock in the Collinsville Cemetery, Rev. Hawes of Tioga conducting the funeral services. School suspended for the evening and quite a number of people attended the fuenral. Etta, as she was more familiarly known, was loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed by the young people with whom she was a general favorite. It is sad indeed that one so young and just in the bloom of youth should be called away, but He who knoweth all things, doeth all things well. She has joined the white winged hosts of heaven and now wings her way through the eternal city of God, for He says, "Suffer little children to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven." "There everlasting spring abides, And never withering flowers; Death like a narrow sea divides This heavenly land as ours."
