"Pete" Pilcher 11 July 1944 - no date wed 26 June 1963  Gainesville Daily Register 23 November 2006 COLLINSVILLE - Services for Evelyn Pilcher, 61, of Collinsville are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Clement-Keel Chapel with Rev. Greg Parent, Baptist minister, and Mr. Ricky Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Collinsville Cemetery under the direction of the Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville. Mrs. Pilcher died November 20, 2006, at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman. She was born May 25, 1945, in Ethel to Clarence and Edith Hampton Watkins. On June 26, 1963, she married Mikel Lee Pilcher in Collinsville. Evelyn Pilcher was a Licensed Vocational Nurse-2 for more than 18 years at Gainesville Memorial Hospital. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Mikel "Pete" Pilcher of Collinsville; parents, Clarence and Edith Watkins of Collinsville; son, Mikel Ray Pilcher of Collinsville; daughters, Tammy Lee Harrell of Collinsville and Tricia Ann Pilcher of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandsons; one great-grandson; brothers and sister-in-law, Steve and Brenda Watkins of Collinsville and Dan Watkins of Collinsville; and sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Phillip Walker of Lake Kiowa. Pallbearers are A.J. Huckaby, Dusty Harrell, Preston Patterson, Justin Patterson, Bobby Parent, Tim Parrent, Scout Walker, and Stephen Paul Watkins. Honorary pallbearer is Phillip Walker.
