FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. McWHORTER, 61

Funeral rites for Mrs. Lucille McWhorter, 62 were held Friday at 2 p.m.  Mrs. McWhoter, who had been in declinig health for sometime, died Wednesday  of last week in a Sherman hospital.  She made her home in Collinsville.
Officiating at memorial services was AVallen Graham, Church of Christ minister, who was assisted by Rev. Hugh Newsom, pastor of the Miller Memorial Baptist church of Collinsvile.  Burial was in Collinsville cemetery.
Mr. McWhorter was born October 15, 1898 in the Ethel community.  She was the daughter of John Doyle and Myrtle Hart Scoggins.  She married L.W.McWorter on  December 26, 1931 in Durant, Okla.  He died November 11 1962.
A public school teacher, Mrs. McWhorter was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Connie King of Collinsville and Mrs. Linda Hall, also of Collinsville; and three grand-daughters. (1971)
