  Ruth Goodin Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. at Huff Funeral Chapel in Whitesboro, for Ruth Goodin, 93-year-old Collinsville resident. Rev. Joe Patterson will conduct the service. She died Sunday, December 1, 2002 at her residence. The daughter of the late Walter Williams and Sarah Ratliff Williams, she was born June 25, 1909 in Gainesville. She married Odis E. Goodin in 1926 in Gainesville. He preceded her in death February 13, 1966. A member of Central Baptist Church in Whitesboro, she was a homemaker. Survivors are a daughter, Patsy Adams, Collinsville; two sons, Odis E. Goodin, Laughlin, Nevada, Billy Goodin, Winston, Oregon; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two daughters, Christine Skurlock in 1976, in Salem, Oregon, Dorothy Lawson in 1964, in Big Spring, Texas; one son, Charles Goodin in 1992, in Collinsville.
