December 15, 1888 Denison, Tex., Dec. 12. - Mrs. C. A. Wilkinson, wife of Dr. C. A. Wilkinson of 1201 West Woodard street, died last evening at 7 o'clock, after a lingering illness of two years, the most of which time the lady was confined to her bed. Funeral service were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock, at the Southern Methodist church. Her remains were interred at the Layne schoolhouse cemetery, three miles west of the city. The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, December 16, 1888 pg. 4 DIED At her late residence on Woodard street, at the hour of 7:30 last Tuesday evening, Mrs. Wilkins, wife of Dr. C.A. Wilkins. The lady had been a great sufferer, having been confined to her bed for several years. The funeral which was largely attended, took place Wednesday at 3 p.m. from the family residence, interment being at the graveyard near Kaufman's school house, 3 miles west of the city.
