  The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, May 3, 1903 pg. 1 Mr. Flippin, father of Mrs. A.B. Reviere, died at the home of his daughter, 716 W. Main street, Thursday morning. Mr. Flippin bore the burden of his years, which were many, remarkably well, until quiet recently ill health laid its heavy hand upon him. He has been sick at Mrs. Reviere's for several weeks and the end came peacefully. The funeral was held from the residence Friday morning, and the interment beside his loved ones who had preceded him was at the Lane burying grounds, 3 miles west of the city. Many sorrowing friends who had known the gentle old man, attended the funeral. NOTE: Ancestry gives father of Josephine Eugenia Flippin Riviere as "John C.
