Henry N. Clarke 1875 - 1942 Emma B. Clarke 1874 - 1954 Ione Clark 1901 - 1906 The Denison Daily Herald
Friday, November 16, 1906 pg. 3 OBITUARY Ione, the 5-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. Clark [sic], died suddenly from membraneous croup this morning at 3 o'clock at the family home 1-1/2 miles west of the city. The little one was ill early inthe week, but was much better and able to come to the city. She was taken ill early last evening, and all that physicians' skill and loving care could do could not ward off the sad end. Besides her parents, the child leaves an older sister, little Marguerite Clark [sic], and 2 younger brothers; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Clark [sic] of this city; and Mr. and Mrs. John Leslie of Pottsboro. A particularly sad feature is that the child's father, Henry M. Clark [sic], who travels with headquarters in Dallas, has not yet been located and does not know of the sad news that will call him home. Funeral arrangements will be announced when Mr. Clark can be summoned home. The Denison Daily Herald Saturday, November 17, 1906 pg. 3 ADDITIONAL LOCAL The funeral of little Ione Clark, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry M.
