WHITESBORO - Flora Harshbarger, 85, of Sadler, died Thursday at Baylor hospital after a short illness. Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Huff Funeral Chapel in Whitesboro.
Burial will be in the Christian Chapel Cemetery, east of Sadler.
Mrs. Harshbarger was born Nov. 23, 1893, in Sadler, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Nowlin.  She married B. F. Harshbarger Aug. 22, 1923, at Sadler.  He died in 1963.
She was a member of the Whitesboro Holiness Church.  She worked at the Sadler School for many years.
Survivors include three sons, Ben and Allen, Sadler, and Ted of Monument, N.M.; four daughters, Mrs. W. E. McClendon, and Mrs. M. J. Blevins, Sherman, Mrs. T. L. Wright, Whitesboro, and Mrs. Tootie Wright, Ruidosa, N.M.; one brother, T. R. Nowlin, Sherman; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.

Betty Louise Harshbarger
19 August 1934 - 6 March 1943

Betty Lou Harshbarger, eight-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Harshbarger of Sadler, died Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Nolin, Denison highway.  The child was removed to their home from a local hospital after an illness of three weeks.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete but the burial service will be at the Christian chapel in Sadler, directed by Dannel-Scott.
The child was born Aug. 19, 1934, in Sadler.
Survivors include her parents; three brothers, Ben Elton, Teddy Mack and Sneed Addison Harshbarger of Sadler; a sister, Veta Mae Harshbarger of Sadler; and three half-sisters, Mrs. Geneva McClendon and Mrs. Helen Wright of Denton, and Mrs. Mildred Blevins of Sadler.
