January 18, 1979 Denison - Funeral for Floyd E. Eldredge, 64, of 3506 Oakwood, who died Wednesday at a local hospital, will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Moore chapel. Rev. Joe Dee Ray and L.D. Lamb, will officiate. Burial will be at Sadler Cemetery. Eldredge was born in Sadler, Dec. 21, 1914, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Eldredge. He attended school at Hagerman and Gordonville. He married May Coats Sutherland, Oct. 27, 1972, in Denison. He was a switchman for the M-K-T Railroad, retiring in 1975 with 33 years service. Eldredge was a member of the First Baptist Church, a deacon in the Hyde Park Baptist Church and a member of the United Transportation Union. Survivors are his wife; two sons, Floyd Weldon, Denison; and Billy Wayne, Dallas; two daughters, Betsy Jones, Dallas; and Mrs. Linda O'Dell, Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Chester P. Eldredge, Collinsville; a sister, Mrs. Geneva Fewell, Deming, N.M.; 10 grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7:30 to 8:30. Pallbearers will be Clarence Rowland, Harry Looney, Tom Hilton, Harold Jones, Clifford Deal and Bob Furr. Teola Eldredge 8 February 1917 - 6 April 1972 DENISON

will officiate with burial in the Christian Chapel Cemetery in Sadler.
Mrs. Eldredge, the former Teola Siebert, was born Feb. 8, 1917, in Sadler. She was the daughter of Mrs. Roy Siebert and the late Mr. Siebert. She received her schooling in Sadler and married Floyd E. Eldredge there Oct. 14, 1933. She was a member of the Hyde Park Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of Denison; her mother of Sadler; two sons, Weldon Eldredge of North Kingston, R. H. and Billy Wayne Eldredge of Dayton, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Betsy Jones of Dallas and Mrs. Linda Odell of Richardson; five brothers, Raymond Siebert of Sherman, C. L. Siebert of Denison, Willard Siebert of Grants Pass, Ore., Donald Siebert, Denton and Billy Jack Stinson of Sadler; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Vaught Axtel of Grants Pass and Mrs. Florence Gregory of Houston; and nine grandchildren.
