WHITESBORO - Services for Robert Sylvester Eldredge, 75-year-old Sadler resident, who died Tuesday at his residence, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Whitesboro Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Stephen Hearrell, pastor of Sadler United Methodist Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Christian Chapel Cemetery in Sadler.
Mr. Eldredge was born in Sadler, the son of Thomas Eldredge and Frankie Holly Eldredge, and married Ruth Conner on
Oct. 6, 1941 in Sherman.
He was a retired factory worker for McGraw-Edison.
Surviving are his wife; son, Robert W. Eldredge of Garland; daughter, Margaret Ann Eldredge of The Colony; and a granddaughter.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.


SADLER - Funeral services for Ruth Margaret Eldredge, 90, were held Saturday, October 30, 2010; interment followed at Christian Chapel Cemetery at Sadler.
Mrs. Eldredge passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in Denton.
Ruth was born on September 10, 1920 in Willow Springs, Texas to White Tap and Lillie (Mooney) Conner.  She married Robert Eldredge on October 6, 1941 in Sherman.  Ruth was a member of Sadler United Methodist Church and a supporter of Sadler Community Center.  Ruth worked for the Dress Factory in Whitesboro for many years.
Survivors include daughter, Margaret Eldredge of Dubuque, Iowa; one granddaughter; 2 great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews. - - - Meador Funearl Home
