LOCAL CONDENSATIONS
Thursday, February 21, 1901 - Millard Price died very suddenly Tuesday
in the Waters-Pierce Oil Co.'s office over the State National
Bank. At the time of his death, Price was conducting the farm of
Ed Hammond and had called at the office for Mr. Hammond's
mail. While seated in a chair, he was attacked with stupor
caused by an overdose of morphine taken to relieve headache.
Price lived for a number of years at Warren Flats. He married
Miss Clint Watson of that community about 2 months ago. He was
for a short time clerk at Madden, Graham & Co.'s. The
deceased was about 30 years of age. He was a member of the United
Moderns and held an insurance policy for $2000. He was a most
estimable young man. There never was a more happy married couple
than Mr. and Mrs. Price. His death is a terrible blow to his
young wife. The remains were taken to Warren Flats for interment.
