DENISON - Funeral for Pauline Crook Young, 79, of 110 W. Texas, who
died Sunday at her residence, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Johnson-Moore
Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Cedarlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Ron
Teal and Rev.L.D. Lamb officiating.
Mrs. Young was born April 17, 1911 in
Pottsboro, daughter of W.R. and Lou Perdue. She married Willie Benton Crook Nov.
2, 1928 in Sherman. He died July 12, 1971. She married Jack Young, Nov. 24,
1985. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a member of the Pythian
Sisters.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Billie Jean Jennings of
Bells, Lavada Curthertson of Denison; brother, Willie Perdue of Denison; five
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the
funeral home from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday and other times at 111 W.
Texas.
Pallbearers will be Mike Perdue, Jack Christman, Jack Odell, David
Mayes, Jimmy Wayne Perdue, G.R.Montgomery.
