December 9, 1992 Pg.A12 Denison - Graveside services for Milton E. "Shine" Shelton, 85-year-old retired electrician of Denison, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. He died Tuesday at Texoma Medical Center. Dr. Jimmy Hopper, the Rev. Mrs. Katie Hoper and the Rev. Lesslie Thompson will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Mr. Shelton was born in Adrian, Mo., the son of Milton C. and Ida Bell Tilley Shelton. He married Dorothy Wood Nov. 23, 1937, in Independence, Mo. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a 51-year-member of the Internation Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 59 Surviving are his wife; son, David Shelton of Lubbock; daughter, Linda Nelson of Ivanhoe; sister, Bertha Holmes of Apache Junction, Ariz.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
