- Funeral for Earl Granville Alley, 86, was held December 28 at
Johnson-Moore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arthur Horn
officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Alley, who died December 26 at his home, was born in Grayson County, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Alley. He married Ruth Gregory 14 May 1922 at Tom Bean. He was a retired farmer and roofer and a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. Survivors include two sons - Richard Allen, Odessa; Wilbern Alley, Waco; four daughters - Evelyn Hall, Weatherford, Juanita Bugg, Ventura, California, Mildred Rainey, Fort Worth, Clara Johnston, Odessa; two sisters - Fay Biggerstaff, Tom Bean and Georgie Cauthen, Cooper; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
