Robinson, 77, retired cotton and grain buyer, a native of the Whitewright community, died Monday at his home in Sherman. Funeral services were held Wednesday. Mr. Robinsonwas born September 25, 1874, the son of Capt. William and Sarah Robinson who came to Texas from Missouri in a covered wagon and settled near Whitewright. Survivors include his wife; two sons, W.B. Robinson and R. Byron Robinson of Houston; five daughters, Mrs. Dick Moore of McKinney, Mrs. Porter Stagner of Celina, Mrs. Rubye Armer and Mrs. Virgil Childress, both of Houston; and Mrs. Rayburn Nall of Sherman; three sisters, Mrs. Belle Damron of Blanket, Mrs. Nanny Ellis of Abilene, Mrs. Lial Dodd of Henrietta; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
