October 3, 1990 Page 2 SHERMAN - Funeral for Ila Mae Ivie, 81, of Sherman, who died Tuesday in a Sherman hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Dannel Funeral Chapel. Joe Ed Furr will officiate. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Ivie was born Nov. 27, 1908 in Knox County, daughter of Otis and Amanda Robertson. She married Ben F. Ivie Dec. 25, 1937 in Denison. Mrs. Ivie worked 25 years at Pool Manufacturing in Sherman and later at Montgomery Ward for several years. She was a member of the Travis Street Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband of Sherman; daughter, Janaan Ivie Compton of Waco; sister, Mrs. Glen Street of Kress; and one grandchild.
