August 26, 2008 DENISON - Funeral services for Katheryn "Kay" Coffman, 89, of Denison, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, in Chapel On The Hill Mausoleum. The Rev. Carl Bilderback and the Rev. Jeff Lancaster will officiate. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. She died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, in Texoma Medical Center. Mrs. Coffman was born Dec. 7, 1918, in Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of A.J. and Stella Drummond Wallace. She married Charles "Shorty" Coffman in December 1943 in Lufkin. Mr. Coffman died Jan. 1, 1994. Mrs. Coffman was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a thoughtful and gracious lady who always put others first. Kay left behind many special friends. Surviving is her daughter-by-choice, Neochia Thompson of Denison, who was also her caregiver.
