Established 1948 John K. Williams 1931 - 2012 Betty Williams 1936 - 2020 The Herald Democrat October 26, 2012 Denison - John K. Williams, Sr., 81, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at his home. John was born Sunday, August 2, 1931 in Van Alstyne, son of Herchell Ray Williams and Addie Bell Clack Williams. John served his country in the United States Army, then went on to be a Sergeant for the Denison Police Department until 1977 before going to work at the Katy Railroad from 1977 to 1979 and the went to work for Pillsbury in 1979 until he retired. He is survived by his wife of Deniso; son, John Williams, Jr. of Denison; daughter, Brenda Lawler of Denison; sisters, Martha Jo Waldrip and husband, Norman, of Greensboro, Georgia; Leslie Bentley of Denison; and Wanda Mae Williams of Edgartown, Massachusetts; granchildren, Cristi Shelton and husband, Jeremy; Jason Williams, Patrick Crites and wife, Angie; 4 great-granchildren, Tucker, Everett, Henlie and Crimson. He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Herchell and Richard Williams; and sister, Mary Kate Williams. Graveside service was held Saturday morning, October 27, 2012 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, with Dr. Norman Waldrip officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice/ Served selflessly, gave generously and loved whole heartedly, our beloved Betty Ann Williams went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on May 29, 2020. She passed away peacefully at TMC after suffering a heart attack. Betty Ann was born on January 10, 1936 in Camden, Arkansas, daughter of B.R. "Bill" and Myra Berniece Brown Fellers. Betty Ann graduated from Fairview High School in Camden, Arkansas in 1953. She then went on to graduate from nursing school at Scott and White school of nursing in 1956. Betty Ann served as a nurse from 1957 to 1978 at Madonna Hospital and then from 1979 to 1999 at Texoma Medical Center. Betty Ann met the love of her life, John Kenneth Williams, Sr. in 1954. They were married on July 9, 1955. They were happily married for 57 years before John passed away in October 2012. Betty Ann is survived by her son, John K. Williams, Jr. and Debbie; and daughter, Brenda Lawler, both of Denison, Texas. Her grandchildren, Cristi Shelton and husband, Jeremy; Jason Williams and wife, Courtney; and Patrick Crites and wife, Angie; 9 great-grandchildren: Tucker, Everett, Henlie, Crimson, Jensen, Hudson, Savannah, Barrett, and Silas.
