Established 1948 Albertine Wimbish 27 February 1931 - 28 February 2014 Morris Wimbish 23 July 1933 - 21 March 2017 SN US Navy Korea Morris Wimbish, 83, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in Denison, Texas. Mr. Wimbish was born July 23, 1933 in Denison, Texas, son of Earnest and Mattie Smith Wimbish. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He worked hard and retired later from the Katy Railroad. Morris was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He leaves a legacy of integrity, love of family and of God. He lived a life of example and was loved and respected by all who crossed his path. Mr. Wimbish leaves behind his beloved children: McCloud Luper of Sherman, Texas; Marques Wimbish of Denison; George Wimbish of Denison; Emily Latina Jackson of Denison; Stanton Wimbish of Durant, Oklahoma; and Kecia Hailey of Denison; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Wimbish were held Friday morning, March 31, 2017 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Davis officiating. Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Pallbearers were his grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas. - - - Fisher Funeral Home Denison - A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Albertine Luper-Wimbish, 83, of Denison was held Saturday morning at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Denison. Mrs. Wimbish passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Texoma Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, Morris Wimbish, Sr.; children, McCloud Luper, Marques Wimbish, George Wimbish, Stanton Wimbish, Emily Jackson, and Kecia Kelly; sister, Delia Orr Thomas; brothers, CW Orr and Bobby Orr; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-granchildren. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Cravens Funeral Home, Sherman, Texas.
