Established 1948    Jimmy Louis Wright entered eternal life with our Lord and Saviour on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Clyde Cosper Texas State Veterans Home. Jimmy was born November 20, 1927 in Sherman, Texas, son of DeWitt Wright and Bertha Blackwell Wright. Jimmy married Doris (Dolly) Marie Owens, April 13, 1947. He was the owner and operator of Wright's Nurseries and Landscape and Wright's Sod for alm ost 50 years. He was such an honorable man, husband and father,working so hard to provide for his family. He was always such a caring and giving person to always striving to help others, expecting nothing in return, and keeping minimal for himself. Jimmy will be deeply missed. Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Pamela Wright Griffin and husband, Phillip; granddaughter, Brianna Griffin Allen and husband, Andy; grandson, Phillip Shane Griffin; daughter-in-law, Shirley (Taylor) Wright; granddaughter, Candice (Wright) Akins; grandson, David Preston Wright and wife, Heather; and granddaughter, Jacinsa Kay Fralicks; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers, DeWitt Wright, Jr.; Robert Wright; Ernest John (EJ) Wright; Carl Ray Wright; Franklin DeWitt Wright; and his sister, Juanita (Wright) Atkinson.
