arrangements were incomplete at noon Wednesday at Waldo Funeral Home for
Henry W. Webb, 85, of 511 N. Colbert, a retired farmer, who died at 4:20
a.m. Wednesday in his home after a long illness.
Rev. R.B. Gilmore of Van Alstyne and Rev. Leon Martin of Sherman, Nazarene Church ministers, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Cederlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Webb a resident of Grayson County 45 years, was born January 7, 1875 in Tennessee, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Webb. On April 9, 1919, he married Mrs. Mary B. Powers. He came to Texas 65 years ago, and for many years he farmed in west Grayson. He retired several years ago because of ill health. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors besides his wife are 5 sons, Walter W. Webb and Odell Webb, both of Sherman; Oscar Webb of Dallas; Frank Webb of Azusa, California; and Milford Webb of West; one step-son, D.C. Goodman of McKinney; 4 daughters Mrs. J.T. Harrison of Sherman; Mrs. Lola Osborn of Orange, California; Mrs. James Lindsey of Antioch, California; and Mrs. Albert Eberls of St. Petersburg, Florida; 6 brothers, Sam E. Webb, Luther Webb and Tom Webb, all of Memphis, Tennessee; John Webb of Colliersville, Tennessee; Doc Webb of Middleton, Tennessee; and Bill A. Webb of Foreman, Arkansas; 27 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
