Established 1948   Viva B. Weimer 1910 - 2005 Thaddeus H. Weimer 1907 - 1979  Southmayd - Services for Viva "Doll" Weimer, 94, of Southmayd were held Monday afternoon, May 14, 2005 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Dana Conaway officiating. Mrs. Weimer passed away Thursday, May 10, 2005 at Collinsville Care Center in Collinsville, Texas. She was born on Saturday, August 13, 1910 in Ballinger, Texas, daughter of W.R. and Amy Tate England. She married T.H. Weimer on October 17, 1926. Before her health failed her, Doll enjoyed making cookies and visiting friends in the nursing home. Her husband; son, Barney Lee Weimer, Sr.; parents; one sister and six brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, John Weimer and wife, Betty, of Whitesboro; daughter-in-law, Frances Weimer, of Sherman; sister, Marie Snellings of Rowlett, Texas; grandchildren, Linda Kanches and husband, David, of Aiken, South Carolina; Ron Weimer and wife, Tomasa, of Mesquite, Texas; Barney Lee Weimer, Jr., of Texarkana, Arkansas; Lisa Gail Waldrup and husband, Ernie; Michael Joe Weimer, Karen Sue Weimer, and Ronald Lee Duckworth, all of Sherman; 18 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
