Walker 23 February 1945 -  The Herald Democrat May 9, 2010 TOM BEAN - Barbara Louise McPherson Walker was born October 5, 1943 at Okmulgee, Oklahoma to James Byron McPherson and Georgia Crutchmer. She married John R. Walker on September 18, 1978 at Greenville. She died Saturday, May 8, 2010 at her residence in Tom Bean at the age of 66. She is survived by husband, John Walker of Tom Bean; daughter, Roberta Wiggs of Tom Bean; daughter, Lori Montgomery of Tom Bean; daughter, Debra Akers of Van Alstyne; son, Ricky Wiggs of Tom Bean; son, John Walker Jr. of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Thompson of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Beverly Sue Patrick. Funeral Services were held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Tom Bean. Officiating the service was Rev. Stan McNutt. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Arrangements were with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Whitewright.
