Established 1948  Denison Herald April 18, 1988 WHITESBORO - Funeral for Helen Louise Wright, 71, of Whitesboro, who died Thursday in a Houston hospital, were held 2 p.m. today in Huff Chapel, with Rev. Harold Watson and Otis Proffitt officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman. Mrs. Wright was born May 2, 1916 in Sadler, daughter of Herman Eldredge and Flora Nowlin Eldredge. She married Tommy Lee Wright October4, 1935. Mrs. Wright was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband of Whitesboro; daughter, Tommie Sue Reese of Cypress; two brothers, Ted Harshbarger of Hobbs, New Mexico, Allen Harshbarger of Whitesboro; two sisters, Genevieve McClendon of Sherman, Tootsie Fouratt of ___, New Mexico; and two grandsons. Harold Watson officiated. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Wright was born September 8, 1915 in Pottsboro, son of Lee and Nola Thompson Wright. He married Helen Louise Eldredge October 4, 1935. She died April 14, 1988. He was a pumper and gager with a petroleum company. Wright was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro. Survivors include a daughter, Tommie Sue Reese of Cypress; a brother, Harold M. of Crane; and two grandchildren.
