Established 1948   After a long and courageous battle with multiple health issues, James Wayne West, 51, entered into eternal life, Monday, October 29, 2018 at Baylor, Scott and White in Plano, Texas. Mr. West was born December 7, 1966 in Mesquite, Texas, son of James L. and Christine Gentle West. He married the love of his life, Deborah Monique Shives in Denison. He loved the Lord with all his heart and was a member of Trinity Lighthouse Church. James also loved his family and children, when it came to doing things for kids he was all in. James enjoyed fishing and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Mr. West leaves behind his beloved family - wife of Denison; daughter, Haley West of Denison; step-son, Jared Whitley of Pottsboro; brother, Terry West of Sherman; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Christopher James West. Funeral services were held Thursday morning, November 1, 2018 at Trinity Lighthouse Church with Rev. Raymond England officiating. Interment followed in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. - - - Fisher Funeral Home.
