Established 1948    Coy Wilcox Courtesy of Cedar Lawn Memorial Park  Van Alstyne, Texas - Services for Coy Wilcox, 72, of Terrell, Texas were held Saturday afternoon, December 8, 2012 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Coy passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 at his daughter’s home in Terrell. Coy was born January 25, 1940 in Winnsboro, Texas, son of Andy Leroy and Annie Marie Waid Wilcox. He served in the United States Navy and was retired as a technician with Texas Instruments. Coy is survived by his mother, Annie Marie Wilcox of Howe, Texas; son, Rusty Wilcox and wife, Debra, of Leonard, Texas; and daughter, Kathy Gandy and husband, Kip, of Terrell; sisters, Elaine Clutter of Howe, and Deborah Hartleben of Howe; 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Coy was preceded in death by his father; sister, Olivia Diann Wilcox; and grandson, Jason Kip Gandy.
