Established 1948  Denison Herald June 1994 Denison - Funeral for Clytie A. Rolen Wingfield, 93, who died June 5, 1994, at the Homestead Nursing Home, was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bratcher Chapel. Revs. Ronnie Harris and Bill Rumsey officiated. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Bratcher Funeral Home. Mrs. Wingfield was born March 24, 1901, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, daughter of Birt and Maryetta (Henry) Rucker. She married M.E. Rolan January 16, 1917 in Bonham. He died in 1967. She then married Tom Wingfield. He also has preceded her in death. She attended Grace Temple Baptist Church. Survivors include five sons - Homer Rolen, Bob Rolen, Leroy Rolen, Birt Rolen all of Denison and Jack Rolen of Mt. Pleasant; 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mark Snellgrove, Walter Snellgrove, Rick McAlister, Chad Rolen, Dan Rolen and Royce Chapman. from: D.
