Established 1948  Sherman Democrat August 1, 1962 pg 2 Friday Services Set For Denison Woman DENISON - Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Bratcher Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Mary Wright, 82, of Denison, who died in a Denison hospital at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Wesley Hodges and the Charles Kuhn conducted the services. Burial was in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery, directed by Bratcher Funeral Home. Mrs. Wright, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith, was born January 20, 1880 in Temple. She married A.S. Wright on May 7, 1898 in Salado. She was a member of the East Side Baptist Church and the Gold Star Mothers. Survivors are six sons, R.L. Wright, D.J. Wright, Wayland Wright, and Floyd Wright, all of Denison; W.S. Wright of Perryton and Tom Wright of Center; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Hock and Mrs. Flora Garner of Denison; one sister, Mrs. H.K. Proctor of Salado; 29 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
