Sherman Democrat January 18, 1990 A10 DENISON - Funeral for Charles Colson Wright, 96, of 424 W. Acheson, who died Tuesday in a local nursing home, will be at 21:30 p.m. Friday in Bratcher Chapel, with the Rev. James Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Wright was born May 2, 1893 in Warthace, Tenn., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Stanton Wright. He married Nettie Pierce in 1917 in Terrell. Wright, a retired bridge and building mechanic for the M-K-T, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Denison and Billie Mosse Lodge #1152. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife of Denison; son, J.D. of Sherman; daughter, Evelyn Wright Lee of Denison; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 tonight. Pallbearers will be Gene Pennington, R.B.Davis, James McKelvey, Wilton McKelvey, John Melton Long and Jess Ownby.
