Wright 9 March 1944 - 14 May 2018 Sidney Wright 12 September 1940 - 4 May 2004 A B US Air Force  Nelda Carolyn Wright was born March 9, 1944 in Sherman, Texas to Vernon amd Lou Ella Ridinger and left this world to enter her heavenly home May 14, 2018 in Imperial, Missouri. Nelda graduated from Denison High School and Grayson County College, where she obtained an Associate Degree. She married Sidney Wright of Denison, Texas August 18, 1969. Together they raised four children, who were the light of their lives. Nelda's career began with MKT Railorad in Denison in 1962. In 1989 she and Sid transferred to St. Louis to continue their careers with Union Pacific Railroad in St. Louis, Missouri. She retired from Union Pacific Railroad in 2004 after after a career of over 40 years. She then began volunteering as a Tax preparer for AARP Tax Aid, until 2017, when she was physically unable to continue. Her hobbied included traveling with her siblings and spouses, eventually fulfilling her dream of visiting all 50 states. She was an avid reader, worked Sudoku and crossword puzzles, and watched old TV shows, as well as loving to cook. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and sisters-inlaw, Wanda and Shirley Ridinger. She is survived by her four children, Trudy Jo Karley (Matt) of Keller, Texas; Gerald Franklin Mc-Aden of St. Louis, Missour; Rhonda Renee Volz (Mark) of Imperial, Missouri; Darla Michelle Becler (Scott) of Cedar Hill, Missouri; and a stepdaughter, Tonya Wilson (Scott) of Wills Point, Texas; grandchildren, Jessica and Johnathan Karley, Jenna Volz, Karly and Sidney Becker, and Cameron and Corey Wilson; and great-grandchild, Brooke Wilson; siblings, Glenda Overturf (Bobby); Brenda Spillman (Raymond); Bill Ridinger (Marie); Lonnie Ridinger (Linda); Ralph Ridinger (Doris); and Jerry Ridinger, along with numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. A church service was held Monday, May 21st at the East Baptist Church, Denison with Bro. Danny Wood and Bro. Brett Castle officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Pallbearers were nephews, Ridingers - Dale, Bart, Lee and Troy; Brian Overturf and David Spillman. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to East Baptist Church, 311 N. 5th St., Denison, Texas 75020, in memory of Nelda Wright.
