Following the service at the Church, we will then travel to Sherman, Texas, to the Cedarlawn Memorial Park Chapel on the Hill for the final entombment in her mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas.
Linda unexpectedly passed away on July 16, 2015 at her home in Celina.
Linda Gail Peveto was born the daughter of Dr. Sidney K. Peveto and Patsy Ann Scott Peveto on October 8, 1959, in Dallas, Texas. She graduated high school and then earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. She married her devoted husband, loving partner, and best friend Jeffrey K. Warmann on August 2, 1988, in Dallas, Texas. From this wonderful union came one daughter, Jennifer Warmann of Denton, Texas, and one son, Joshua Warmann of Dallas, Texas.
Linda is survived by her husband, Jeff Warmann of Celina, Texas, her daughter, Jennifer Warmann of Denton, Texas, her son, Joshua Warmann of Dallas, Texas, her father, Dr. Sidney Peveto of Sherman, Texas, her brother, Dr. Ronald L. Peveto and wife Patricia Ann of Colorado Springs, Colorado, her brother-in-law, Bradley Warmann of Arlington, Texas, her sister-in-law, RaeAnn Ortolon and husband Scott of Edna, Texas, her mother-in-law, Suzanne Warmann of Edna, Texas, her nephew, Travis Peveto and wife Heidi of Denver, Colorado, and her nieces, Ariane Peveto, Jacqueline Peveto, Katelyn Warmann, Taylor Warmann, Brandi Ortolon and Kimberly Ortolon. She is also survived by her very special, lifelong friend, Mechelle Reeves.
Linda was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Sarah Ann Warmann, mother, Patsy Ann Peveto, father-in-law, Robert Warmann, and her grandparents, Rufus and Anna Scott.
Linda was a very active member of the church she loved so much, First United Methodist Church in Celina, Texas. Linda also participated as a member of the Celina Newcomers Club.
Linda Gail Peveto-Warmann was and remains a daughter, a wife and partner, a loving mother, and a best friend. Words can never express how much we love her and how much we will miss her. She was a woman who cared about everyone else before herself, who took in many people and gave them a home, was a second mother to so many young people, and who was there for everyone in their time of need. She was a very selfless person, and in that act of selflessness she had mentioned that she didn’t want people to send flowers to her funeral in the event of her passing, but would rather have the money that would be spent on flowers go towards a charity or fund to help someone in need.
Given that Linda struggled most of her life from depression and the nature of her tragic passing, we thought it would be most appropriate if the money was donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
