Webb, 78, who died Thursday at his home, 1215 South Fannin avenue, were conducted at Bratcher's chapel Saturday with Bratcher directing. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Born at Mufreesboro, Tennessee, January 10, 1882, he was married at McKinney, Texas, to Mrs. Lennie Smith, November 11, 1911. He lived at McKinney and Celina and farmed for a few years, later moving to Denison, 15 years ago. He was a member of the Church of God. He is survived by his widow, a son Charles of Prosper; four daughters, Mrs. Evelyne Tapp and Mrs. Doris Evans, both of Denison, and Mrs. Olive Sellers, Pomona, California, and Mrs. Jeanette Higgins of Anaheim, California. Also surviving are three sisters, Mesdames Ada Sontagg, of Frisco; Ulmer Sontagg, Louisville; and Myrtle Phylips of Dallas; besides 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
