Established 1948    Lallie Mae Vaughn-Bowman 9 February 1924 - 30 January 2016 James W. Vaughn 20 June 1924 - 17 July 1957 Private 934 Engineer Aviation Regiment WWII  Sherman - Lallie M. Vaughn Bowman Killough, 91, went home to our Heavenly Father on January 30, 2016 at her home surrounded by her children. Graveside services were held Saturday afternoon, February 6, 2016 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in the Chapel on the Hill in Sherman, Texas. Welton Stoker of Parkview Church of Christ officiated. Lallie was born February 9, 1924 in Commerce, Texas, daughter of Arthur and Mable Duren. She was a homemaker to her children. She is survived by her children, Thomas Vaughn and wife, Darlene; Roger Vaughn and wife, Janny; Brenda Erickson-Kanz and husband, Don; Betty Marshall; and Eddie Bowman; daughters-in-law, Peggy Vaughn and Robin Vaughn; sister, Frances Gaines; sisters-in-law, Charlene Duren and Lois White; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Lallie was preceded in death by her husband, James Watson Vaughn; 3 sons, James Vaughn, William Vaughn, and Jerry Vaughn; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Jason Vaughn; Joe Fossee; Robert Vaughn; Tracy Traweek; Jeff Starkey; Eric Vaughn; Jake Marshall; Jeremy Hutchins; and Justin Wyatt. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Hill, Rick Burchfield, and Kyle Boren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels.
