Denison Herald June 24, 1993 pg 2 DENISON - Graveside services for Helene Vanden Hoogen, 72, of Denison, who died June 22, 1993, in Texoma Medical center, were held at 2 p.m. today in Cedarlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Dr. Lee R. Tillman officiated. Mrs. Vanden Hoogen was born November 25, 1920, in Denison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cowan. She graduated from Denison High School. She married Franklin H. VandenHoogen December 20, 1963 in Dallas. She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Dumas. Survivors include her husband; two brothers, Billy Cowan of Austin and Russell Cowan of Riverside; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
