Established 1948  Sherman Democrat August 8, 1993 A-20 DENISON - Services for Emma Lou Tice, 82-year-old housewife of Denison who died Friday at Medical Plaza Hospital, were held Monday afternoon in Johnson-Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Dennis Hochgraber and Rev. L.D. Lamb officiated. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Tice was born in Kemp, daughter of David Shugart and Letha Dent Shugart, and married Roy Tice on June 7, 1940 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a member of Parkside Baptist Church and Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Surviving are her sons, Joe Terry of Denison and Charlie Terry of San Diego, California; brother, James Tramell of Sherman; sisters, Ruby Tramell of Sherman and Ann Gryttenholm of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Pallbearers were Jess Potter, Lee Cox, Jerry Jones, Ed Bratton, Lyndol Irby and Lonnie Traweek.
