Established 1948   Sherman - Floriene Mae Thomas, 84, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Willows in Sherman. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, September 29, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Broughton officiating. Private burial services were held at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Floriene Thomas was born on February 26, 1926 in Denison, daughter of Richard and Willie Mae Temple. She was baptized on April 6, 1941 at Calvary Baptist Church and was a member from then on. A native of Denison, Texas, she graduated from Denison High School and attended Draughon's Business College and Denison Business College. After 31 years of service in various roles, she retired as the Vice President from First Republic Bank of Denison. She was preceded in death by her children, Richard Harlow and Louann Shock. She is survived by grandchildren, Kim Kuehn, Shellye Speakman, Robin Ziemian, and Ryan Lewis; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Drake Kuehn; and Savannah and Parker Ziemian; son-in-law, Robert Shock; and daughter-in-law, Sherry Harlow. Memiorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, Building Fund, 300 W. Acheson, Denison, Texas 75020.
