Established 1948  June 9, 1992 Denison - Former Denison resident Marion Elizabeth "Sis" Turner, 78, died June 8, 1992 in Hurst Care Center in Hurst. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. today im the mausoleum at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Rev. R.D. Lamb officiating. Johnson-Moore Funeral was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Turner was born October 2, 1913 in Pottsboro, daughter of C.W. and Betty Mae Nesmith Higgins. She attended Pottsboro and Denison schools, as well as Baylor University. She married James Price Turner in 1935 in Denison, and he died in 1951. Mrs. Turner was a personnel manager for Levi-Strauss Co. for many years. She was a Baptist.
