Established 1948   Denison Herald March 10, 1993 Page 2 MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Funeral for Melena Kristine Thompkins, 24, who died March 9, 1994 at Myrtle Beach, S.C., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bratcher Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. William Davidson will officiate. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Thompkins was born Jan. 17, 1970 in Denison, daughter of Melvin O. and Mary Christine Graves. She was a waitress at L&N Restaurant in Myrtle Beach, S.D., and was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors include her father, Melvin O. Graves of Denison; her mother, Mary Christine Fullwood of Denison; a son, Michael Thompkins of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a daughter, Kristin Nichole Graves of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three brothers, Robert Johnson of Denison, Van Heineman of Forney and Rocky Johnson of Denison; and a sister, Sheila Heineman of Austin.
